Please note we do not take prescription requests over the telephone or via email.
You can order your repeat prescriptions online via PATCHs , SystmOnline and NHS App
Alternatively, you can submit your prescription request form by handing it into the practice reception, by post enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.
We would ask that you request your repeat medication 7-10 days before you need it. The Practice requires a minimum of two full working days to process your repeat prescriptions.
Please also note that if a request is not for an item not on your list, the doctor needs to review it: inevitably there can be a delay
Medication reviews
On an annual (or occasionally 6 monthly) basis the practice needs to review your list of medicines. This is known as the medication review. Some medications require regular health monitoring before a repeat prescription can be issued. In this instance you will be contacted to make an appointment for your medication review with a clinician.
Pharmacy ordered prescriptions
You will be required to order your repeat medication directly from your GP surgery we do not routinely take orders from community pharmacies for medication.
Please note that the collection, dispensing and delivery of your prescription from community pharmacies, online pharmacies and appliance contractors will remain the same, it is only the ordering process that will change. If you have a nominated Pharmacy your prescription will still go directly there, if you do not, your prescriptions will be available to collect from the surgery as normal.
If you or someone you know requires assistance when ordering repeat prescriptions, then please contact the practice for help.
